How long does it take to index pages?

Waiting for your pages to get indexed can be an understandably anxious time, but fear not! Tag Parrot is here to help accelerate this process. Now, you might be wondering, "How long does it actually take to get indexed?"

Based on our experience, we've observed that pages usually get indexed within the first 24 hours after submission, and in many cases, within just a few hours. However, it's essential to be honest and admit that we can't guarantee a specific timeframe for each individual page. Ultimately, Google holds the reins, deciding when and how to proceed with indexing.

Tag Parrot comes to your rescue by automatically checking the live index status of any pages you submit for indexing. This way, we keep you informed with up-to-date information on your current index status.

Here's an important detail to keep in mind: the actual Google Search Console (GSC) indexing report doesn't update daily. As of now, it refreshes every 3-4 days. So, even if your pages have been successfully indexed, they won't immediately appear in the GSC report until the next update. To find out the last updated date of the GSC indexing report, just glance at the top of the page.
